Who we are
The Collective Resource is a brand of MitiSource LLC, based in Overland Park, Kansas. This policy covers this website and information you provide when asking about or using our technology and AI consulting services.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@thecollectiveresource.com or call (913) 213-3242.
Information used to help you
- Inquiries and service work. If you contact us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, message, and relevant details about your business, tools, or requested work. We use these to reply, arrange conversations, and provide the agreed service. Please do not send passwords or full payment-card details by email or message.
- Payments. You enter payment information on Stripe’s hosted checkout page. Stripe processes payment and billing/contact information. We can access payment and customer/contact details in Stripe to manage your purchase and provide the service. Our website’s payment database stores order and checkout references, the checkout link, payment and service status, timestamps, and a hashed browser identifier. It does not store your full card number or card security code.
- Website operation and security. Hosting access and error logs record technical information such as IP address, requested URL, time, response status, browser information, and referring page when supplied. We use this information to operate the site, troubleshoot problems, and prevent abuse. The service also uses IP addresses temporarily to limit excessive checkout and SMS-preference requests.
Necessary service-provider processing
Providers that host our website or handle email and telephone communications process information needed to operate those services. Stripe processes payments and related fraud prevention. We use these services to deliver what you request, not to give others a marketing list. We do not authorize providers to use your information for their own marketing.
We may disclose information when required by law or a valid legal process. This does not authorize selling or transferring SMS consent, or another sender’s use of it.
Mobile information and texting privacy
Texting is not enabled yet. You can now save your choice through our SMS preference form. It requires a phone number and an actively checked consent box. The Text option still opens a disabled web-chat panel, with a link to that form. Neither the panel nor the form sends messages or automatically starts a conversation when texting becomes available.
The form currently stores your normalized phone number, affirmative consent, server timestamp, exact consent wording and version, source page, policy references, and a hashed browser identifier/request reference to avoid duplicate saves. It does not collect an inquiry, name, or email address, and it does not put raw IP addresses or user agents in the consent record. Existing hosting/security logs still apply. You can contact support to change or withdraw your saved preference.
When enabled, texting through Twilio will be limited to customer-initiated technology/AI consulting inquiries, requested service follow-up, and call or appointment coordination. We will use your phone number, messages, delivery information, and consent or opt-out records only to support those requested conversations and honor your choices.
We do not sell or rent mobile information or SMS opt-in data and consent. We do not share them with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, or transfer them to another sender for that sender’s messaging.
Twilio and telecommunications carriers will process only the information needed to route and deliver our requested messages, operate and secure that service, and handle consent or opt-out requirements on our behalf. This necessary delivery processing does not allow their own marketing, reuse of your consent, or messaging by another sender. These specific protections apply to SMS data throughout this policy.
See the SMS terms for consent, STOP, HELP, message frequency, and possible carrier charges.
Retention and security
We keep information as needed for the requested work, customer support, payment and accounting records, security, disputes, and applicable legal requirements. Retention depends on the record and its purpose; we do not currently apply a single automatic deletion schedule to all records. Ending a conversation or closing a checkout does not immediately erase related records. Saved consent and withdrawal records are retained to document and respect your choices. A saved preference does not authorize an activation announcement or an automatically queued message.
We use HTTPS, restricted server access, and protected payment credentials. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for these purposes. No website, storage system, or communication method can promise absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold by emailing info@thecollectiveresource.com or calling (913) 213-3242. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the request. We will explain any records we need to retain for transactions, legal obligations, security, or disputes, and any provider-related limits on the request.
When SMS is enabled, you can withdraw texting consent by replying STOP or contacting support. Consent to texting is not a condition of purchasing a service.
Policy updates
We will post changes here with an updated effective date. We will explain a material new use and obtain consent where needed before using information for a purpose outside your request. Contact us if anything about our handling of your information is unclear.
